Why the rhino?

One of my earliest memories was at age six touring through UMkhuze game reserve in Southern Africa. I went to the detached bathroom at first light all by myself, - a distance of 50m. On my return, I had eyes watching me!

A massive rhino was right there, less than 10m away, and I made the timid walk back past the beast to the rondavel. That was my first real nature experience, and the reason for the Rhino in our company logo.

EVA is: Quality work, rapid customisation, accurate deadlines, ethical business and above all - Hardcore Expeditions.

About Justin;

Having been given my first electric drill for my 4th birthday, my future pathway was well on its way. I have always had a passion to build things and it has been a big part of my recreation. As a teenager I would buy and restore motorbikes for sale - until I had achieved my goal, and had saved enough to buy a brand new YZ400F the year it was released. This combination of hard work an goal setting is part of my DNA, and everything we do here at EVA.

As a previously avid dirtbike rider, and moto trials competitor, I have a love for the outdoors and have traveled many remote parts of Australia and the globe.

I have raced in events such as the Outback Challenge, in a self built Nissan Patrol, and take my 4x4's very seriously.

Above surfing, kitesurfing, and being in my shed - Having fun with my wife and our two children, is my favourite pastime.

About Roger:

As a dual qualified engineer, and accomplished businessman Roger also shares a passion for adventure.

He has been on more remote surf safari's than most 'surferholics', and has spent many a glassy day at (previously) remote places like Jefferies bay. He has also traveled extensively throughout Africa, in hostile environments, and has spent many a day floating down Kariba in a houseboat, beer in hand.

Holding a license for the biggest off road trucks in existence at the time (tank transporters), and a solid history of driving Military tanks, Roger has amassed experience in expedition travel and planning beyond most folks comprehension.
